Bakersfield, CA – Boise, ID will send a representative to the $25,000-to-win “All-Star Showdown 200” in the form of 2019 Northwest Super Late Model Series champion Trevor Cristiani. Cristiani is undefeated in touring series action at Irwindale Speedway, having won the Modified portion of the “All-Star Showdown” in 2019, and the Spears Modified Series opener the proceeding year. He will now bring his FURY Race Cars Super Late Model, recently acquired from Ross Strmiska, to the event on February 5th. It is the same car he drove to a “Snowflake 100” birth by finishing third in the Last Chance Qualifying race at 5 Flags Speedway behind Noah Gragson and John DeAngelis.
Cristiani will look to add to his winning resume, after scoring championships in three different Super Late Model touring series. He brought home championships in the Pacific Challenge Series, Rocky Mountain Challenge Series, and the aforementioned Northwest Super Late Model Series. In the Modifieds, he earned a championship in the Intermountain Outlaw Modified Series, in his only full season. He has amassed eight wins in only 15 career starts.
In 2020 and 2021, Cristiani ran a limited schedule, but branched out to participate in some major events across the country. In October of 2020, he headed to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway for the All American 400 weekend. He completed only 239 of 300 laps however, finishing 19th after a vibration ended his day. In the 2021 “Snowflake 100”, he came home 23rd after dropping out after 82 laps. Still the trips earned him additional experience, and he hopes to put that experience to good use in the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series season opener.
Trevor is thankful for the opportunity to compete in the “All-Star Showdown 200” and for his sponsors who make it possible.

The “All-Star Showdown 200” will take place on February 5th at Irwindale Speedway. It will kick off the 22nd season for the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour and the second for the SPEARS Pro Late Models presented by Sigma Performance Services. The SPEARS Modified Series will take part in their second event of the season, after Jaron Giannini won the opener at Havasu 95 Speedway. The Super Late Models will race for $25,000-to-win. The Pro Late Models will compete for $10,000-to-win and the SPEARS Modified Series will shoot for $5,000. Qualifying for all three divisions will commence at 2:00pm. 44 Super Late Models appeared in 2021 with 38 Pro Late Models and 22 Modifieds answering the call.
Celebrating its twenty-second season in 2022, the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series is a regional stock car series competing on paved ovals in the southwestern portion of the U.S. “The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series…Where the Champions Race”.
