Bakersfield, CA – MAVTV will be on hand to once again to nationally televise the upcoming “Winter Showdown” at Kern County Raceway in Bakersfield, California.

The $150,000.00 Winter Showdown for Super Late Models is billed as the “Nation’s Richest Short Track Race,” with top drivers from throughout North America already entered in the February 1stand 2ndevent.  The two-day event will feature Super Late Models, the Spears Manufacturing Modified Series presented by Lucas Oil and the NASCAR Super Stocks.

The Winter Showdown will air on a taped delayed basis, with the airdates of the Super Late Model “Winter Showdown 300” and the Spears Manufacturing Modified Series presented by Lucas Oil event to be announced at a later date.

The 2019 Winter Showdown weekend will be headlined by the Saturday afternoon, February 2nd$30,000 to win “Winter Showdown 300” for Super Late Models.  Friday, February 1stwill feature Super Late Model Qualifying, along with the Super Stock Main Events, Spears Manufacturing Modified Series presented by Lucas Oil All-Star Race and the Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse Last Chance Race.
