Big Money Race on Tap for SPEARS Pro Late Models at Stockton Speedway

Bakersfield, CA – The “SPEARS Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services,” is proud to announce the biggest race in the series young history.  On October 2nd at Stockton Speedway, the series will run a 166-lap main event, paying $15,000 to Win and $400 to start.  The idea for the event was initiated by Jeff and Allen Bischofberger and with their support the race was brought to Stockton Speedway.

“We can’t thank the Bischofberger Brother’s enough on wanting to put together this must-see race.  We also want to thank Tony Noceti for hosting this marquee event at the historic Stockton Speedway.  The $15,000 to Win is a BIG number, but it’s also great to see $400 for every driver to take the green flag.  We’re very fortunate to have a lot of great supporters who believe in what we’re doing.  This is just another example of that support and we can’t wait for October!!” commented the SRL’s Brian Olsen.

The “SPEARS Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services” is in its inaugural season in 2021.  The series has seen early success with strong car counts and big events, including the season opening $15,000 to Win All Star Showdown at Irwindale Speedway.  Other high-profile races in 2021 include the $7,500 to Win Asparagus Cup (Stockton Speedway – March 13), $7,600 to Win “Sigma Performance Services 54” (Kern County Raceway – June 26” and the $5,400 to Win October Classic presented by Sigma Performance Services (Kern County Raceway – October 23).  In addition to these marquee events, all races can be seen live on SpearsRacing.TV, as well as tape delayed on MAVTV.

“Racing with the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series on and off since 2014 has been a dream and honor.   The memories made with my brother Allen (crew chief & spotter) could never be replaced. We have been extremely fortunate to have been surrounded with great people like Jeremy & Mike Doss, Dallas Leininger and the entire SRL staff.  As we slowdown in the racing world a bit to focus on our young kids, we thought the October Prolate race would be a great opportunity to support those who’ve supported us.  Growing up in Tracy and attending high school in Stockton, we spent many nights attending the races at Stockton 99 Speedway as spectators. COVID changed many things for my brother and I.  In the racing world it brought to our attention those doing things for the ‘right’ reasons…Tony and the SRL team have been amazing and have always gone over and beyond during these challenging times. Doing what’s best for the fans and racers always proved to come first, then themselves second!

I know I speak for many when I commend both the SRL and Tony for their devotion to our sport in efforts to allow us all to continue to do what we love. With that said we found this to be the right opportunity to show our support to the best series and best track.

Lastly, we hope to increase the payout (not only at the top) for this race as the date nears.  If you’d like to be a part of what may become the largest pro-late model race on the West Coast, please contact Brian (Olsen) or the Bischofberger brothers.” stated Jeff & Allen Bischofberger.

The SPEARS Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services returns to action on May 22nd at All American Speedway.  The May 22nd race is the first of two trips to Roseville, CA for the series in 2021.  Former SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Champion and Rookie of the Year, Jeremy Doss, leads the point standings over Tyler Reif and Dylan Zampa.
