Kole Raz Enters “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Back in Business 127” with a Win on his Mind
Bakersfield, CA – Kole Raz is coming off his rookie season in the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series, finishing fifth in the championship standings and second in the Rookie-of-the-Year rankings. The 2021 season found him behind the wheel of a Sigma Performance Services Super Late Model, but in 2022, he will be back in his family owned #27, normally driven by his brother Gracin Dean Raz. Raz is coming off a strong qualifying run at the “All-Star Showdown 200” at Irwindale Speedway, turning the seventh quickest lap in a field of 33. Unfortunately, a burned ignition wire ended his race after 150 of 200 laps, in 25th-place.
Raz will now head to ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA for the $10,000-to-win “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Back in Business 127”, Raz had a memorable run in 2021 at this same event. He was involved in an incident early in the race that rendered his Super Late Model to more of the look of a Modified. Raz recovered from the incident and planted his racecar in the top-five at the conclusion of 147 laps. That performance, along with his families Super Late Model which races well on the shorter tracks, gives him self-assurance heading to March 5th.
“I’m feeling really confident going into All American Speedway”, the Oswego, OR driver stated. “It is a great payday up for grabs and a racetrack that I really enjoy going to. This time, taking our family-owned car, I think you can look to see a strong result. This car is really strong at ¼-mile racetracks, and we’ve been doing a lot of homework in preparation for this race. I’m ready to hit the track March 4th and go grab a big win on Saturday night.”
The 18-year-old driver possesses two consecutive NASCAR Advanced Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series State of Arizona Championships, as well as the 2020 Tucson Speedway. Track Championship. He was a finalist in the Kulwicki Driver Development Program in 2021 and has proven to be a winning driver with eight wins in 21 starts in the 2019 & 2020 NASCAR Regional window at Tucson. He will look to turn that record into another win on March 5th. He is thankful for those who have made the event possible.

Admission Gates for the $10,000-to-win “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Back in Business 127” will open at 4:00 PM. The SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series will be joined by the SPEARS Pro Late Models presented by Sigma Performance Services and the Spears Modified Series. The local Mini Cup / Bandolero Division, F4 Division and Super Stocks will also join the action. Qualifying will begin at 3:55 PM with Opening Ceremonies scheduled at 5:00 PM. The Feature events will begin shortly thereafter with the SPEARS Modified Series closing out the evenings action.
