Blaine Rocha will make his third Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series start of the season after his top-10 finish in the North-South Super Late Model Shootout 200 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway for the Southern Super Series and CRA Super Series. Rocha has three top-10 finishes in four SSS starts, and one top-10 in two SRL starts. He is coming off a ninth at Kern County Raceway Park in the “Winter Showdown 100”.
Rocha will make series start #69 in the “Spears Manufacturing 100 presented by Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse San Dimas“. 12 of those starts are at Irwindale where he has two top-five efforts, with a best finish of second in 2021. He will look for series win #3 and the $6,000 to be awarded to the winner thanks to Loyd McGhee and J&M Racing. $500 will also be awarded to the PFC Brakes Zero Drag Fast Time Award winner, as well as $500 to the leader on lap 17. Both of those bonuses are also courtesy of Loyd McGhee.
Come out to Irwindale Speedway to see all three SRL Divisions in action, as the Spears Modified Series and the Spears Pro Late Models presented by Sigma Performance Services will join the action on May 21st. For those unable to attend, the action can be caught LIVE at www.SpearsRacing.TV and on a delayed basis on MAVTV.
