Dan Holtz Seeks Success in Life and an All American Speedway Victory

Bakersfield, CA – At the age of 63, Dan Holtz is still getting it done in life and on the racetrack. Holtz will make his 58th start in the Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series on March 23rd atALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA. The “JM Environmental Wild West Shootout Rock the House 127” will pay $10,000 to the winner in its’ fifth season as a series within a series. Holtz will seek to grab his second series victory in the 24th season opening event for the SRL.
The Pacific Palisades driver belongs to a select group of racers, who have won in both the NASCAR Elite Division Southwest Tour and the Spears SRL Southwest Tour. The former Super Late Model track champion at Mesa Marin Raceway joined Jim Pettit II, Craig Raudman, MK Kanke, Eric Holmes, Auggie Vidovich, Ron Strmiska Jr., and Kenny Boyd when he won at Tucson Speedway (AZ) in the “Rosted Rattler 125”. He nearly added a second series victory when the SRL visited Roseville in 2010. Holtz finished second in his first visit to the facility behind Holmes and in front of Pettit. But his second trip to the 1/3-mile oval in 2022’s “Back in Business 127” was a struggle, finishing 11th. Holtz plans to avoid similar results this year, with some help from a friend.
“Unfortunately, the last year when we went to Roseville, we had a lot of problems that caused us to perform very poorly”, Holtz recalled. “We tried a few things that just did not work at all. I’m planning on testing a week before our event this year to make sure that doesn’t happen again. I definitely want to start this season off correctly with a great finish at Roseville. It’s a great racetrack when you have a car that handles well, but it’s no fun at all if you are driving a poor handling race car. Showing up a week before the event and testing with Willie Allen should solve that problem.
Holtz last big Super Late Model victory was in the “West Coast Short Track Championships” at the Bullring at LVMS in 2021. The 2023 SRL season found Holtz sixth in the championship standings, grabbing top-five’s at Irwindale Speedway and twice at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. The later was a runner-up finish in the “October Classic”.
But Holtz’s drive goes far beyond the racing spectrum. He is the owner of the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center, which now includes 26 locations. It is an anti-aging and med spa designed to help its’ patrons look and feel younger. He is also starting a new company in partnership with Tony Robbins. The company will be called Regenerative Health Systems and will deal with the powerful healing technology that repairs damaged DNA. Holtz not only talks the talk, but he walks the walk. The 63-year-old still works out seven days a week for at least two hours a day, as he states, “I absolutely love weight training”.
With Holtz and W.A.R. Shocks’ Willie Allen doing the heavy lifting at All American Speedway, a victory in the 2024 SRL season opening event is a goal that is certainly within reach.
Celebrating its twenty fourth season in 2024, the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series is a regional stock car series competing on paved ovals in the southwestern portion of the U.S. “The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series…Where the Champions Race”.
