Nickolas Cooper will return to his home track

Two-time Colorado National Speedway Super Late Model track championship runner-up Nickolas Cooper will return to his home track on August 17th, seeking his first Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series victory in the “Salted Metals Architectural Metals 150″. $10,000 will be on the line for the Rocky Mountain Motorsports team with Cooper behind the wheel.
The 2021 CNS Super Late Model ROTY finished a disappointing 17th in last year’s edition, but the result was not an indication of the strength of the effort. Cooper finished the 2023 SRL season as the Rookie-of-the-Year runner-up and fourth in the overall standings. The 17th-place result was his worst of the season. He had a best of fourth at Irwindale Speedway and added four additional top-10’s. He is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Motorplex at the Mill in his debut with the Northwest Super Late Model Series in June. He opened his season with a seventh in the “All-Star Showdown” at Irwindale.
Watch for the multi-time CNS Super Late Model winner to compete for another win at his home track on the 17th. It will be his first start at the facility in 2024.
