Tim Spurgeon
Bakersfield, CA – Tim Spurgeon made his seventh career start in the SRL Southwest Tour when the series visited The New Stockton 99 Speedway (CA) for the JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. Wild West Shootout- There’s Gonna Be Some Rockin 127″ last September. It was the veteran racers only SRL start of 2024, but he came home with a solid ninth-place finish, completing all but one lap. It was his third top 10 with the SRL, all at Stockton.
Spurgeon also has three career top 10 finishes in the ARCA Menards Pro Series West, earning a best of sixth at Sonoma Raceway (CA). He was a track champion at Antioch Speedway (CA) and a Late Model championship runner-up at Altamont Raceway Park (CA). He was a two-time winner in the Westcar Late Model Series. On the road courses he earned championships in the NASA and Miata Series. For good measure, he was a multi-time drag boat champion.
