Second Straight Second for Strmiska

Manteca, CA – Ross Strmiska and his Mainline Equipment/Jack Tone Vineyards Team continued their string of top finishes with their second place run at Saturday’s SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series “Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Central California 125” at Madera Speedway.  It was Strmiska’s fourth top four finish in as many races and second consecutive second place finish.

“There’s no disappointment here, we’re up there in points and after we do some work we’ll get even better.” Strmiska said after the race.  “We made some big gains in the championship tonight, so it was a great night as far as the big picture goes.”

Strmiska maintains second in the 2013 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series championship standings, behind two-time series champion Jim Pettit II.

“The next race is at Rocky Mountain Raceway in Salt Lake (July 20).  It’s one of the best tracks we race on all year, with really great race fans.  I can’t wait to get there.  The way we’re running right now, I can’t wait to get to the track for each race.” Strmiska added.
