MELO’S GAS and GEAR CONTINUES ASSOCIATION WITH SPEARS SOUTHWEST TOUR SERIES
Bakersfield, CA – The relationship was founded 15 years ago when Melo’s Gas & Gear became a longtime sponsor of Mesa Marin Raceway, that relationship has transitioned into Melo’s supporting the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series and will continue to in 2014.
“We’ve had a long standing association with Melo’s Gas & Gear,” stated the SRL’s Brian Olsen. “Melo’s had one location in Bakersfield when we started our relationship, now Melo’s has six locations in Bakersfield, Fresno, Delano, Taft, Merced and Paso Robles. “
Melo’s Gas & Gear is an Independent Welding and Industrial Supplier, with manufacturer’s authorized equipment repair facilities.
“Over the years, it’s been great watching the SPEARS Southwest Tour grow and change. Now the SPEARS Southwest Tour will watch as we grow and change. WestAir Gases and Equipment has acquired Melo’s Gas & Gear, with big plans for the future, so watch for the excitement over the next year as we grow to serve the valley better. Melo’s Gas & Gear will once again be the title sponsor of the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series season opening event, which will again be hosted by Madera Speedway. The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series season opener, “Melo’s Gas & Gear 125 presented by DC’s RV Center” will take place on Saturday, March 15th at Madera Speedway.
