TWO CAR EFFORT for STRMISKA RACING

Manteca, CA – Ross Strmiska, the third generation driver from Manteca, CA will team up with rookie driver Blaine Rocha this weekend at Madera Speedway.   Strmiska Racing will field both the familiar pink Mainline Equipment/ Jack Tone Vineyards #90 Chevrolet for Strmiska, along with the red MasRoc Farms/Rocha’s Valley Enterprises #98 for Rocha.

“We’ve worked with Blaine on his Late Model program and he ran our second Tour Car at Salt Lake and did a great job for it being his first SRL race,” said Strmiska. “For a young driver, he has a lot of talent and racing experience.”

Racing karts since 2008, Rocha represented Team USA in the Rotax Grand Finals of karting in 2013, and moved to full size Late Models and now Tour Cars in 2014. This weekend at Madera, Rocha will compete in three divisions; SPEARS Southwest Tour Series, Open Late Models and Legends.

“Driving for Strmiska Racing has been a great opportunity for me,” stated Rocha who is from Oakdale, CA. “The SRL race at Rocky Mountain Raceway couldn’t have went any better for us and I’m really looking forward to this weekend at Madera, which we consider our home track.”

Strmiska has two consecutive SPEARS Southwest Tour Series second place finishes at Madera and hopes to score his first series win this weekend.

“We’ve brought great cars to Madera and our results have shown that. Second place finishes in this series are tough to come by, but we all want the win and hopefully things go our way Saturday night.” Strmiska added.
