Bakersfield, CA – Bill McAnally Racing ARCA Menards Pro Series West driver Austin Herzog will step behind the wheel of the Wilson Motorsports maintained #11 to compete in the “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Flick the Switch – Bulwark ‘FR 100” at Kern County Raceway Park on June 18th. Herzog, who currently sits sixth in the “West” championship standings, will be making his fifth SRL start and second at Kern. He also has two “Winter Showdown 300” starts under his belt. His best finish in those three appearances was a sixth in the 2018 championship event.
Herzog currently sits sixth in the “West” series standings, with one top-five and three top-10’s in four starts. He was the 2019 Nut Up Pro Late Model Champion at Madera Speedway, while earning four Late Model wins and four Fast Times that season. In 2018, he had his best career Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series finish, scoring a second at Madera. That season he also was the winner of the “West Coast Nationals 100” at Orange Show Speedway, Fast Qualifier at the Senator’s Cup Fall Classic at the LVMS Bullring and Dirt Track, and the RPM Mortgage Pro Late Model Championship Runner-up at Madera Speedway.
Herzog is thankful for the opportunity to compete at Kern County Raceway on the 18th.

Admission Gates officially open at 5:00 pm. Qualifying for the Modifieds is scheduled for 5:20 pm followed by the Pro Late Models and Super Late Models. Opening Ceremonies commence at 7:00 pm. The Spears Modified Series will open by running the “General Tire 60 presented by PFC Brakes”. The Pro Late Models will race for $5,400 in the “Sigma Performance Services 54” and the Super Late Models will round out the racing with the $10,000-to-win “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Flick the Switch – Bulwark ‘FR 100”. The Luina “Feel the Power” Fireworks Spectacular will round out the evening’s activities.
