Brian Yackey Made SRL Debut at CNS
Bakersfield, CA – The Yackey family is well known throughout Colorado National Speedway history, with multiple championships at the famous 3/8-mile. In 2024 Brian Yackey added his name to the record books of SRL Southwest Tour Series participants, the third to do so in his family. Brian made his first career start in the Salted Metals Architectural Metals 150″ at his home track. The 2024 CNS Super Late Model Rookie-of-the-Year showed well for his family name, coming home with a hard-fought sixth place result. He battled his way from the 14th starting position.
Yackey completed the season fifth in the CNS Super Late Model championship standings. He completed his championship season with four consecutive top five main event finishes, after making his Super Late Model debut in 2023. The former Pro Truck track champion was a welcome addition to the field in 2924, and we hope to see him again when the series visits CNS in 2025.
