Our six-time Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series champion, Derek Thorn, is off to a great start, setting the quickest lap in opening practice for the 57th Annual Snowball Derby at 5 Flags Speedway. Buddy Shepherd (3rd), Haeden Plybon (4th), and Jeremy Doss (8th) were also in the top 10.

2024 SRL Modified Champ, Holly Clark just picked up a new Phase 2 chassis from Port City Racecars. For next season, she’ll be racing super late models primarily at Colorado National Speedway, but also with the SRL and will continue to race modifieds on non-conflicting weekends.

With his third consecutive second place finish, Dylan Zampa grabbed the three-race series "JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. Wild West Shootout" championship. Zampa was second at Redwood Acres Raceway, The New Stockton 99 Speedway, and now Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway. Congratulations Dylan!!
