Coleman Powersports “Hard Charger Award”

Congratulations to the driver of the Thompson Pipe Group, RACECAR Factory Ford, Dean Thompson, for scoring the Coleman Powersports “Hard Charger Award” for improving the most positions during the “Retro Custom Metals 137”, from the LVMS Bullring and Dirt Track. The Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series Rookie-of-the-Year Leader made the field through a provisional, and started 25th on the grid. Thompson managed to stay on the lead lap and finish in the 11th position, an improvement of 14 positions.

Thompson’s next event in the series will be at his hometrack, Irwindale Speedway. He is coming off the Late Model Championship at the facility, and will be searching for a great finish in the “All-Star Showdown Warmup” on December 19th. It will be the season finale for the series, and will wrap up it’s 20th season of action.
