Four-time Redwood Acres Raceway Sportsman / Late Model champion Brandon Barnwell
Four-time Redwood Acres Raceway Sportsman / Late Model champion Brandon Barnwell made his SRL Southwest Tour Series debut in 2024. The Labor Day weekend “JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. Wild West Shootout Money Talks 127 presented by Big Valley Sanitation” found Barnwell earning an eighth-place finish after qualifying 10th. Barnwell battled with Mike Beeler for the position before finally grabbing the position.
Barnwell returned from a racing hiatus in 2022, to win the track championship the following season. Most of his racing experience has been at “The Acres”, but he has also branched out to Ukiah Speedway, and Shasta Speedway, finishing eighth in the 2011 running of the “Win River 125”. He also has starts in both the North State Challenge Series and the Pacific Challenge Series for Super Late Models. It was great having Brandon participate with the SRL in 2024!
