History of the Winter Showdown – Pollard Draws First at Inaugural Showdown

As we approach the 8th running of the ‘Winter Showdown’ at Kern County Raceway on March 25th, we will look back at the previous seven dating back to the first edition on February 28th, 2015 when Bubba Pollard held off Dalton Sargent and Derek Thorn to claim the $25,000 payday. Blaine Rocha and Preston Peltier rounded out the top five of the 36 car field.
