Bakersfield, CA – Cale Kanke has been close to Victory Lane many times in his Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series career. He has three second-place finishes in his last eight series starts, but he hasn’t been able to cash in with his first series victory. He has finished fourth and third in the past two championship seasons, proving he can consistently run up front. Kanke will now return to his home track, Irwindale Speedway (CA), for the “Allie Bakes 100” on September 16th. It is a special event for the Frazier Park, CA driver as his primary sponsor Allie Bakes, is also the race sponsor for the first time. A win this weekend would be a perfect fit.
“What’s a better way to grab my first tour car win than at the “Allie Bakes 100”, Kanke exclaimed! “We thought we had the car to beat in the last event at Irwindale, when I got caught up going for the lead. I’m excited for this weekend. Fans should come out for some sweets and treats from Allie Bakes and enjoy an exciting night of racing.”
