After an impressive Spears Pro Late Model Series debut at Irwindale Speedway in November of 2022, McKenna Mitchell will return to compete in the “All-Star Showdown 100” on February 3rd, to make her third start in the series. Mitchell finished third in that first start, after qualifying eighth in the 19-car field. She returned for the “All-Star Showdown in 2023, but finished 23rd of the 34 competitors after last lap issues.
Mitchell was the 2023 Rookie-of-the-Year in the LunkerDaddy Late Models at Madera Speedway, finishing fourth in the championship standings. She was the youngest driver to win a Pro Late Model race at ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA in 2022, also winning in 2023. She grabbed the Junior Late Model crown at AAS in 2021, while fifth at Madera.
The 2019 All American Speedway Bandolero champion will look to grab the $10,000 win next weekend, looking to bounce back from 2023. The win would add another accomplishment to her expanding resume.
