Mike Beeler to Make First Start at Redwood Acres Raceway
Bakersfield, CA – Two-time Pacific Challenge Series champion Mike Beeler will make his first start at Redwood Acres Raceway (CA) on August 31st. The “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Money Talks 127 presented by Big Valley Sanitation” will pay $15,000 to the winner and will be Round #4 of the 2024 Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series season.
Despite Redwood Acres Raceway hosting the PCS on nine occasions, Beeler has never made a start at the 3/8-mile oval. The Modesto, CA driver has four victories in that series, including wins at ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA, The New Stockton 99 Speedway (CA, 2), and Ukiah Speedway (CA). In addition to his two championships, he had two runner-up finishes. He was a multi-time winner at Stockton 99 Speedway in their Late Model division and was a well-known racer throughout the Central Valley of California.
Beeler will make his ninth start with the SRL and only his second since 2020. Beeler, who was a regular with the Spears Pro Late Model Series, will look to improve upon his best SRL finish of ninth, which occurred at Madera Speedway (CA). The veteran racer is supported by David’s Racing Products, Kleen Blast Abrasive Warehouse, and Beeler Industries.
Celebrating its twenty fourth season in 2024, the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series is a regional stock car series competing on paved ovals in the southwestern portion of the U.S. “The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series…Where the Champions Race”.
