The Century Motorsports & Marine 122 presented by Retro Custom Metals is set for this weekend at Rocky Mountain Raceways, located just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Century Motorsports & Marine 122 is a first time event that has brought together over 30 teams from the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series and the Rocky Mountain Challenge Series for one big race, with a record $10,000 for the winner.

RACE FORMAT
122 laps – The fastest 20 cars from single car qualifying are locked in to the Century Motorsports & Marine 122. The remaining cars will run a qualifying race, transferring the top four (4) finishers to the A-Main, plus; one (1) SRL owners provisional and one (1) RMCS owners provisional.

Top 3 Drivers in the Rocky Mountain Challenge Series Point Standings: Jonathon Gomez, Twin Falls, ID (723 points), Jeff Hillock, Cedar Hills, UT (633) and Zan Sharp West Jordan, UT (630).
Top 3 Drivers in the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Point Standings: Greg Voigt, Goleta, CA (892 points), Parker Stephens Olympia, WA (880) and Carlos Vieira Livingston, CA (861).

Jonathon Gomez won the last time the Rocky Mountain Challenge Series competed at Rocky Mountain Raceways on August 15th, 2015.
Derek Thorn won the last time the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series competed at Rocky Mountain Raceways on May 26, 2014.

There are six former series champions entered in Saturday’s Century Motorsports & Marine 122 presented by Retro Custom Metals. John Dillon (RMCS 2009), Jonathon Gomez (SRL 2010), Bruce Quale (RMCS 2012), Eric Rhead (RMCS 2014), Zan Sharp (2004, 05, 11), and Derek Thorn (SRL 2012 & 14).
FINAL RACE FOR RMCS CHAMPIONSHIP
The Century Motorsports & Marine 122 will be the final race of the 2015 Rocky Mountain Challenge Series championship season. The top five drivers in the championship standings have a mathematical shot at the 2015 Rocky Mountain Challenge Series title entering Saturday’s race.
CLOSE CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE IN SRL
With three races remaining to decide the 2015 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series champion, only 108 points separate the top 10 drivers in the championship standings. A maximum 180 points is awarded to the winner of each race.
CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS FORMAT
At the Century Motorsports & Marine 122 presented by Retro Custom Metals, teams will receive championship points for their respective series, relative to how a driver finishes against the drivers from his or her home series.
