NTS Motorsports Makes SRL S2 Debut
KERNERSVILLE, NC (May 13th, 2014) NTS Motorsports will make their SRL S2 Tour Series debut this Saturday night at Kern County Raceway Park. Behind the wheel of the NTS SRL S2, will be Bakersfield driver Corey Elliott.
“We’re excited about our new S2, it’s a great way to get young drivers involved with our program,” stated NTS Motorsports owner, Bob Newberry. “The S2 series has some great potential and we look to have some fun with it.”
From their Bakersfield, California shop, NTS Motorsports fields the #29 and #21 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series teams for drivers Greg Voigt and Garret Archer, with the addition of the new SRL S2 program scheduled for various developmental drivers. In addition to their west coast operations, Newberry and his NTS Motorsports team field three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams, as well as two full-time K&N East teams for drivers Brennan Newberry and Gray Gaulding.
This weekend, NTS Motorsports will be busy with five different teams competing at three different events. Elliot in the #29 S2 car at Kern County Raceway Park, Newberry and Gaulding in the K&N East Series event at Iowa Speedway, as well as Austin Dillon and Justin Lofton in the Camping World Truck Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
