Bakersfield, CA – Randy Hedrick will make his first start in the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series since July 4, 2020, at The New Stockton 99 Speedway. He has made very infrequent starts as of late, competing in only four events in the last four seasons. Prior to that, his last start was in 2005 at Altamont Motorsports Park. Hedrick will become a more familiar site in 2022 after purchasing a new Super Late Model from Hamke Racecars, which arrived on Monday afternoon at the shops of Linny White Racing. After a quick turnaround, Hedrick will be ready to make his season debut at ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA on March 5th, in the $10,000-to-win “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Back in Business 127”
Hedrick was a winner in both the Pacific Challenge Series as well as the Nor-Cal Best in the West Touring Series for Super Late Models. The veteran driver has starts in the NASCAR Southwest Tour Series, Westcar Late Model Series, to go along with 15 starts in the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series. He was a multi-time winner in the NASCAR Advanced Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series at All American Speedway in 2020. He finished in the top-five in each of his eight starts. Hedrick will be driving a Super Late Model powered by a Brad Peters motor with RJ Johnson and the former Tyler Fabozzi crew heading the effort.
Hedrick will once again have a close relationship with 2006 SRL Champion Eric Schmidt. The Reno, NV driver will be making his first SRL start All American Speedway, after participating in three Pacific Challenge Series events. His best finish was a fifth. Hedrick called the now defunct Champion Raceway (formerly Tahoe-Carson Speedway and Silver State Raceway) his home track, where he won two NorCal Best in the West Series events and had multiple Late Model wins. He has victories on the dirt as well as wins at Roseville, Ukiah Speedway, Shasta Speedway and Mesa Marin Raceway.
Admission Gates for the $10,000-to-win “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Back in Business 127” will open at 4:00 PM.
