“Rookie-of-the-Race” Honors

Congratulations to Bakersfield’s Buddy Shepherd for earning the “Rookie-of-the-Race honors at Irwindale Speedway last weekend. Shepherd finished sixth, which was the best of the five rookies entered in the “Spears Manufacturing 100 presented by Earnest Performance“. Shepherd is the first rookie in 2020, to take home the honor twice. Shepherd sits third in the overall standings, behind Rookie-of-the-Year Leader Joey Iest Racing and Dean Thompson, after Round #4 of the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series season.
