The Money in the Bank 150 Entry has Been Posted
Bakersfield, CA – (March 29, 2022) Today, the Official Entry for the June 8th “Money in the Bank” 150 at Berlin Raceway has been posted. The $10,000 to win Super Late Model race is a partnership with Berlin Raceway and the SRL National. The race is expecting entries from the top Super Late Model teams in the country.
“Today (Tuesday) is a very big day for us (Berlin Raceway and the SRL) as the entry form for Money in the Bank is now live. We have heard of numerous, big-name drivers expected to participate. Now we will all see who is coming in June. One thing we all know is, it’s going to be a star-studded field,” stated Berlin Raceway’s Jeff Striegle.
The ‘Money in the Bank 150’ is first of two big events that Berlin Raceway and the SRL will join forces on in 2022, as they will also work together to present the $30,000 to win ‘Battle at Berlin’ on August 10th.
“These two events promise to be two of the biggest Super Late Model races in the country this year,” continued Striegle. “Berlin Raceway couldn’t be more excited to partner with the SRL. They bring a longstanding focus on quality events and a fair, competitive atmosphere which aligns perfectly with the goals and objectives that we set forth here at Berlin.”
In 2022, the SRL expanded its operation east to sanction some of the nation’s top Super Late Model events. Ricky Brooks, Larry Collins and Brian Olsen head up the SRL’s new venture. The SRL has been exclusive to sanctioning west coast Super Late Model events since 2001.
“The ‘Money in the Bank’ at Berlin Raceway is one of the top Super Late Model races in the country and we’re proud to be part of it,” stated the SRL’s Ricky Brooks. “We’ve enjoyed working with Mike, Jeff, Nick and their staff at Berlin during the planning of the event and look forward to the SRL being in Michigan in June.”
The Wednesday night ‘Money in the Bank’ will offer an open practice on Tuesday, June 7th as an option, with the full program of practice, qualifying and the 150-lap main event on Wednesday night. Teams are encouraged to get their ‘Money in the Bank’ entries in soon, as race tire selection will be based on the order which entries are received.
