“THE SHOWDOWNS” $10,000 BONUS TO BE AWARDED IN 2016

Bakersfield, CA – Two of the richest Super Late Model events in the nation will once again team up to award a $10,000 bonus to the driver who performs best overall at the Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway Park and the Summer Showdown at Evergreen Speedway.

Bubba Pollard of Senoia, Georgia cashed the $10,000 bonus check after winning both Showdowns in 2015, collecting a combined $60,000 in winnings at the two events.

The winner of the 2016 Winter Showdown will take home a record $30,000. The combined payout for the Winter Showdown and Summer Showdown will exceed $260,000.00, including the $10,000.00 bonus paid to the top driver overall for the two events.

The 2016 Winter Showdown has already received entries from drivers representing seven states, including defending race winner, Pollard.
