FRIDAY – Gates 1pm, 1st Practice 3:20pm
SATURDAY – Gates 11am, Driver’s Meeting 12pm, Practice 1pm (1.5 hrs), Qualifying Tech Opens 3:45pm, Qualifying 4:45pm

TIRES FOR KERN: Hoosier F45 (L) and 56* (R) pre-order from Hoosier Tire West at 559-485-4612.
FUEL: The track will have SUNOCO 110 on site. You may also pre-oder by calling Toby at 661-330-3345.
TRACK GAUGE: The track width gauge will remain at 64 5/16 inches as it was set at the PPIR event.
CHASSIS OFF-SET: Reminder — The centerline of the frame side rails must be within three (3) inches of the front and rear tread width.
PARKING: Due to the large turn out of cars expected for this event, parking will be tighter than usual, as our rigs will be required to park closer than normal to one another – the good news is it won’t be Bakersfield HOT.
MUFFLERS: Required at Kern per the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series 2014 Rule Book. 95dba at 100 feet.

CRANE IGNITIONS: The mandated Crane part # 6000-6701 HI-6RC system for all series event winners; will add the Crane HI-6RN ignition box as an option, which is identical in function to the HI-RC, but does not have the built-in 20-degree start retard feature.
