UPDATES and REMINDERS: Stockton 99

SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series 

1. TIRES – Hoosier 970: You may bring in practice tires and your mounted race tires for the weekend. Stockton 99 will be servicing the event; Hoosier Tire West will not be at Stockton.  Again, you are allowed to bring in your race tires for the weekend or get them at the track on Friday or Saturday. 

2. NEW SRL RADIO FREQUENCY – All SRL race divisions from this point forward, must scan 2000.
   461. SPOTTERS – Spotters must be utilized at all times your car is on track. The spotter must monitor race control with a scanner or stand-alone radio at 2000. 
3. PARKING – If your team has any special parking requests, please reply to this email no later than the end of the day on Wednesday.

4. STOCKTON LICENSE – For 2024, All Pro Late Model Drivers must purchase a 2024 Stockton 99 License to compete – $100.

5. FUEL – SUNOCO 110 and SUNOCO E85 is the spec fuels for the SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series. It is each team’s responsibility to have your own fuel supply for the event. Contact the track if you plan to buy fuel during the race weekend be sure they have what you need available.

6. PRE-TECH – All cars will undergo inspection by assigned appointments on Friday, maximum four crew members plus the driver with the car in tech inspection. This is a convenience for the teams, be on time, or the system does not work.

7. MUFFLERS – A muffler must be used and installed in a configuration that will suppress exhaust noise to a maximum 99DBA at 100 feet.

8. QUALIFING TECH – ON THE GROUND: Once pre-qualifying tech opens on Saturday, all cars are to be on the ground ready to roll to tech at 4pm sharp – hood on, no wiping down, cars on the ground – ready to roll.

9. IMPOUND – All cars will be impounded after qualifying.

10. DASH FOR CASH – The fastest four SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series drivers from qualifying will be eligible to compete in the Dash for Cash, $500 to the winner.

11. REQUIRED DECALS –Spears Manufacturing windshield decal must be in place.

12. NO GOLF CARTS, SCOOTER, QUADS – No golf carts, quads, bicycles, or any type of motorized scooter, etc. allowed on the raceway grounds. THE INJURED OR HANDICAPPED MAY BE ALLOWED SINGLE PERSON SCOOTERS – MUST GET APPROVAL FROM RICKY BROOKS.

13. NATIONALLY TELEVISED – The race will be livestreamed on SPEARSRacing.TV, live, and will be nationally televised at a later date on MAVTV. Team uniforms are not mandatory, but let’s do our best to represent our team and series in a professional manner.

15. NEXT RACE – The next SRL event will be on May 18^th at Irwindale Speedway, featuring the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series, SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series and Spears Manufacturing Modified Series.
